President Jonathan extends RCCG church visit to The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry

Less than 24 hours after visiting RCCG, President Jonathan on Saturday visited another church – The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry of Pastor Lazarus Muoka – in Lagos in the continuation of his 'church visits'

As the presidential election his fast approaching, Jonathan has intensified his visits to churches. Since the year began, Jonathan has worshipped in not less than four churches in various parts of the country.

Nigerians have accused President Goodluck Jonathan of using the pulpit of the churches he visits to campaign for his 2015 presidential re-election.

Pastor Tunde Bakare of Latter Rain Assembly, once expressed his disapproval of Jonathan’s action. According to him: “Kneeling before Adeboye was a clear campaign tactic which also diminishes the president and his office.

Jonathan has signalled the the commencement of his presidential campaign by going to kneel down before Pastor Adeboye. See, I am not saying that pastors should not pray for the president but Jonathan is a symbol of an institution known as the presidency.

He cheapened the institution by prostrating before a man of God because of perceived political advantage he thinks he can get.

Pastor Lazarus Muoka welcoming President Jonathan to The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry in Lagos today.
“By going to kneel down in the open before the pastor, the man (Jonathan) did not even recognise the dignity of his office. If it were a private thing, it is okay for you to crawl or kneel but it is a whole nation. That office has been diminished by a man who does not know the worth of it and does not deserve to stay there for one more day”

  6. He that kneels before God will surely stand before men. He knelt only in the time of prayers as a sign of humility to God,not to the pastors.

  7. Don't mind the religious bigot called GEJ. He suddenly realise that that he needs to wipp up religious sentiments by running from one church to the other. What is he doing in those churches at this time if not politically motivated. If one goes by PDP criticism of Buhari, one would be right to say that GEJ is more of a fundamentalist than Buhari. We cannot forget so soon his visit to Canaan Land and the uterances of the Bishop there. May God have mercy on selfish political leaders trying to use religion for selfish agrandisement. We need to be ware of these wolfs in sheep's clothing.

So yhu expect gudluck 2go in2 the presence of GOD standing. While great men of GOD who saw his glory kneelt down, weda political or being using the church of for an advantage is not your bisnes the young man is only sicking protection from the almighty source becos he knows what his battling in that seat so leave him alone. And for that person who wrote something like he don't know the meaning of presidency is a big fool bcus the constitution did not state dat the president shud not kneel down in an altar or b4 a man of GOD.
