Ogoni Student Union Leader Shot Dead In Rivers State

Gunmen have shot dead a student unionist, Mr. Nfiri Sebastine in Bori, in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The late Sebastine was in the Department of Science Laboratory at the Rivers State Polytechnic and, also, the financial secretary of the Ogoni Student’s Network worldwide.
The victim, who also worked part-time as a fuel station attendant, was shot dead on Saturday evening at Barry Oil Nigeria Limited, Bori, by unidentified hoodlums.
Reacting to the incident, the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP), has condemned the dastardly act, describing it as unlawful.
MOSOP spokesman, Bari-ara Kpalap, appealed to security agencies to track down the perpetrators, stressing that his killing was unjustified.
