Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose, has declared that the advert he placed in which he raised doubts about the health status of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), was neither a death wish nor laced with sinister motives.
Fayose clarified that his reason for taking the step was to prevent a recurrence of constitutional crisis, which the sudden demise of late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua had created in the country.
He, however, reiterated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the February 14 presidential election, President Goodluck Jonathan, will win the election convincingly.
The Governor stated this in Ado Ekiti on Saturday while playing host to a team of American diplomats in his office led by the United States Consul-General in Lagos, Mr. Jeffrey Hawkins.
Fayose said the state witnessed a peaceful poll last year during the governorship election, expressing confidence that the standard this time around would not be lower.
Explaining to the diplomats about the advertorial, Fayose said it was not a death wish advert but to appeal to sense of reasoning to prevent the episode of 2010 when the National Assembly had to invoke Doctrine of Necessity for President Jonathan, the then Vice-President, to take over in acting capacity, when Yar’Adua had been incapacitated by sickness. Is bitter I see my Yoruba friends rejoicing that when Buhari die few months after election that the mantel will fall on their man Osinbajo ,Osinbajo has on the other hand signed agreement with Bola Tinubu to hand over to him on the grands that he does not want to continue that he wants to opt out for his Pastoria calling.Nigerias vote wisely, do not play into tha hands of Tinubu the other day he wrote that he sacrificed his presidential ambition to Buhari it is a lie
ReplyDeleteDr. Fayose, do not mind hungry people who hates truth . They only supports certificate faker. Ride on. God is with you and therefore no reasonable person can be against you.
ReplyDeleteFayose is correct because truth is very very bitter, if i may ask, where is the strength for Buhari to be running up and down for Nigeria, well let God have his way
ReplyDeleteSome people will just open their mouth and talk. What kind of arrangement is that, how can osinbajo signed an agreement with tinubu as if it is a private organisation. How can that be possible. This comment means nigerians are not brilliant. That is why the country is in this sorry state. May Godhelp us with our reasoning. Hahaa.nothing in the head except corruption.
ReplyDeleteTake politics apart. Is fayose a sensible man?
ReplyDeleteWhen some people make a comment, you can't but ask a question about the state of their mental ability. Am from Ekiti Fayose made a blunder with such advertorial am sure he knows that and such a thing should not be celebrated. And more so NE eye needs to fine tune the kinds of people that comment on this platform since some people has shown to have nothing upstairs.
