Jonathan sends list of eight ministerial nominees to Senate


President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday sent eight ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and approval.

The names, contained in a letter signed by Jonathan and read by Senate President David Mark, include senator Musiliu Obanikoro from Lagos state.


Others are, Mrs.Patricia Akwashiki (Nasarawa); Mrs. Hauwa’u Lawan (Jigawa); Prof nicholas Akise Ada (Benue); Col. Augustine Akobundu retd. (Abia); Mr. Fidelis Nwankwo (Ebonyi); Mr. Kenneth Kobani (Rivers) and Senator Joel Ikenya (Taraba).

The Senate has not fixed a date for the screening.

    No amend you can ever make again.
    I know for Obanikoro is for him to come and recoup lost gound, I mean lost or shared money and failed during the last pdp governorship primaries. We are going to probe every dime spent from the very day GEJ enters Aso Rock. Trust me

  2. Anonymous 1:51pm, has Tinubu & fashola a Federal executives ? Leave their probing to whoever be the next governor of Lagos if there is anything to probe at all.
    As for Jonathan's appointment of ministers, well he want them to have share of the national cake before may 29th. They will all cough it out soon.
