The Director of Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Campaign Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has denied allegation that he has rented a crowd to boo the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (Rted) during his presentation at the Chatham House, London, on Thursday.
It can be recalled that NigerianEye reported that Femi Fani-Kayode allegedly bribed prostesters with $20,000 to embarass Buhari in London (Read report HERE)
FFK took to micro-blogging site-Twitter to deny the allegation, stating that “My attention has been drawn to a story that I am renting a crowd to embarrass Gen. Buhari at Chatham House later today. It is a lie,” via his handle, @realFFK.
Since his appointment by president Goodluck Jonathan, the former APC stalwart has engaged the party and its presidential candidate, Gen.Buhari in a fierce campaign battle.
It will be recalled that the APC alleged on Wednesday that their sources in London disclosed that Fani-Kayode is organizing a paid protest against Gen. Buhari on Thursday when he appears for his Chatham House engagement.
Gen. Buhari also threatened, Wednesday, to back out of the Abuja Peace Accord over what he termed ‘repeated thrown tantrums’ over his academic qualifications by Fani-Kayode.

DeleteAnd who bribed the katsina crowd to boo the vice president in his own home town? Who bribed the crowd to embarrass Janathan during his campaign rally in Bauchi and Katsina? If you tell me nobody bribed these people to embarrass these men in authority but that they just hate PDP, then you can as well take same answer too. Stop crying wolf where there is non! ReplyDeleteGuy haha! The pdp gov of Bauchi say na fellow pdp sponsored the stoning of our president GEJ just to discredit him as governor. Other attacks were caused by pdp unguarded comments by Fayose. GEJs boy open the wound of the lost illustrious son of Katsina people by publishing Yar'Adua as a president that died in office. He now wants to go greet them after campaign in Katsina. They naturally resisted him for his ungrateful and gullible political move. Nobody bribed them. Finally let PDP come up with substantial evidence of foul play by APC. APC is everyday bringing up some evidence against PDP that makes the ears tingle. Every moves by PDP is well contained by APC. PDP say APC hacked INEC data base. No proofs. PDP used DSS against APC only to make APC gain sympathy of the people. PDP should work harder at this crucial period and make right decisions.
