The Egyptian government has agreed to pay 3,280 dollars as compensation to the families of fans who died outside an Egyptian soccer stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Football federation, which postponed all domestic matches indefinitely, said there would be another meeting after the three days of mourning with all parties concerned to discuss resuming football matches.

He said the league cannot be postponed for too long because four clubs would participate in African competitions and the Egypt national team would start playing in World Cup 2018 qualification next July.
