₦6 Billion Bribe: PFN blasts Amaechi - 'Shut up before you incur the wrath of God'

The National Vice-President, South-South, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Dr.Simeon Okah, has described the N6bn largess alleged by the River State Governor Rotimi Amaechi to have been given to the Christian Association of Nigeria as a mockery on spiritual leaders.

He called on Amaechi and those making the allegation against Christian leaders to shut up and stop making such claims before they incur the wrath of God.

Okah spoke in Calabar at the Christian Central Chapel on Sunday during the inauguration of the Cross River State chapter of the PFN.

He said it was not true that the Federal Government gave the leadership of CAN the sum of N6bn to curry the support of the clergy men for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election bid.

Okah said, “When I read the report, I called Dr. Okoye, who is the Aso Rock Pastor when Obasanjo was president to find out the veracity of the newspaper reports and he said it was not true.

“I call on those making such allegations to prove their case or repent before they incur the wrath of God on themselves.”

He said as a Christian, Amaechi should know the implication of such allegation on spiritual leaders.

“If Amaechi is a Christian that he claims to be, he knows the implication of making such allegation against people who are his spiritual leaders. This issue is beyond politics and I thought that Amaechi who is a Christian knows the implication of making such allegation and I call on him to name the people the money was given to or shut up,” he said.

Shortly before the inauguration, Oka had urged those handling the affairs of the fellowship to be passionate and prepared to commit themselves to the welfare of the fellowship.

“This inauguration conveys on you the instrument of authority to carry out the purpose of Christian work and uphold the standard of the faith,” he said.

In his inaugural speech, the new President of the Cross River chapter of PFN, Pastor Lawrence Ekwok, said the fellowship would weed out fake pastors whom he said were giving Christianity bad image.

Ekwok said, “Some pastors are getting involved in occult and diabolical practices by contacting herbalists to prepare charms for them while others engage in fake prophesies, all these give the church a fake image.”

  8. When the Catholic Bishops left CAN, an evil spirit called Mammon took over. it. Men and brethren, pls do not be deceived. It is not about the leaves but the fruits, not about the result they present but the process leading to that result that matters.

  9. Those of you who are paid to come online and make useless comments should remember after the election is loss and won it will be you and your family or believe. You don't loose your sense of dignity and responsibility because you were paid to go on all social media to discredit the president of Nigeria and even men of God. When the wrath of God begin to fall on you, don't run to any of the pastor to pray for you. What a high risk venture!

  10. Wrath of God? The bible said that judgement will start at the pulpit. You so called men of God who are after money and fame, that's why you now have so many churches. No one wants to be under any other person, everyone wants to be General overseer, Bishop, archbishop with his wife and kids as senior and junior pastors. Who are you deceiving? You brood of vipers it is you that the wrath of God will fall in and he will scatter you with thunder, fire and brimstone for making mockery of Christianity, anyone who leeds His sheep astray will be severely punished so also anyone who uses Christ name to amass wealth from gullible congregation. You call yourselves followers of Christ, how many houses did He live in? How many cars? Private jets? How many expensive schools did He build with church members money yet their children cannot attend those schools because of cost? Mtcheeeew, keep deceiving yourselves. When Christ was tempted by the devil, it was the very things you pastors are killing yourselves for that he rejected, power, money, fame. But all of you have sold your souls to the devil for all those. Enough already, some of us Christians are a lot wiser. Nobody needs a pastor to have a personal relationship with Christ, the Holy Bible is the standard. Paul, Peter, John, etc followed Christ and died for Him. How many of you are willing to do that. Shame on all of you.

    1. Thank you very much for your write-up honestly you couldnt have said it more aptly. Enough with this Pastor/MOG propaganda. Imagine pastors owning planes and all sort, this same talked about cleric is the one that has his plane used to help launder our money in SA while our president says the money is for the purchase of arms and ammunitions for Nigeria; am sure the arms are for is own household.

Nigerians should wake up from these riduculous psycophancies, lets think straight and unbiased at least for the sake of upcoming generations....
