The alleged meeeting between former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and President Goodluck Jonathan failed to hold as it was gathered that Obasanjo sneaked out of his palatial building in Abeokuta, immediately Jonathan arrived the state capital.
Obasanjo was driven out in a black SUV through a private gate in his house.
Jonathan and Vice, Namadi Sambo arrived Abeokuta ahead of the Presidential campaign in Ogun state, and drove to the palace of Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland,Oba (Dr.) Michael Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo,Okukenu IV to pay him a courtesy visit.
It was gathered that the Vice President arrived the Ake palace at about 3:00pm and drove out at exactly 3:20pm.
At Obasanjo’s residence,a reliable source confirmed to NE said there was no indication that the former leader was ready to meet Jonathan today.
“We don’t have any such visit on our itinenary. If we are expecting such visitor,you and I know how this place will look like. Baba is not expecting anybody.To even let you know, Baba just drove out now while you people were sitting here,. But I’m not sure if you people know it was him.
“He drove out in a black jeep with one police escort car.If I can guess very well,the time then will be exactly 2:59pm. So,I dont know where you got your own information that President Jonathan will be coming to visit Baba today. Yes,as a Nigerian,I heard he will be coming to Abeokuta today but it is for a polItical stuff,as I gathered and Baba is not expecting anybody,”an Obasanjo aide said.

I expected Nigerians and especially GEJ to know that OBJ has always and will continue to be a traitor, besides he was the one who claim Jona was a saint before why turning the table now?: He can be well describe as one of the Nigerian thieves who are only crying now because their selfish political plates appear to be going empty
