Goodluck Jonathan, has promised to create more businesses to checkmate youth restiveness and improve their living standards in the country.
Jonathan spoke in Kano yesterday while addressing a large crowd of party supporters during his campaign tour to the state yesterday.
President Jonathan told a mamoth crowd of party supporters during his presidential campaign in Kano, that the federal government has intervened in so many areas that could help in developing the state.
The President while commending the people of the state on area of polio eradication disease, stated that the “The World Health Organization (WHO) would declare Nigeria polio-free this year.
He explained that “what delayed the declaration last year was as a result of some challenges that we faced at the time.”
He said “We will make sure that rice is produced, processed and exported from Kano. Kano is known for business, trade and industry.
