Fayose should be ignored, Buhari is in good health - APC

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation has asked Nigerians to ignore the “utterly silly and reckless statement” credited to the “over-exuberant” Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, that Gen. Muhammadu Buhari lacks good health.

In a statement in Abuja on Friday, the campaign organisation dismissed as “unsolicited, reckless and silly” the allegation that former President Obasanjo was planning to impose Buhari on Nigeria as he allegedly did the late President Umaru Yar’Adua while ignoring their health conditions.

The statement, signed by its spokesperson, Mr. Garba Shehu said, “Gen. Buhari is fit as a fiddle.”

He said, “The APC presidential candidate has no known ailment and is in excellent condition to pilot the affairs of the country.

Buhari is almost a health freak, who exercises regularly and undergoes medical examinations at regular intervals.

“On each occasion, the outcomes of those medicals have been favourable. The recent medicals he did gave him a clean bill of health.”

  3. Buhari if ever elected will be the worst thing to happen to Nigeria. A man with sense of progress, no contribution to his life and others. A former petroleum Minister, former military Head of State and PTF chairman yet has no endowment in his name, no scholarship, no school built in his name. No community service, No employee except domestic staff. Such a man has no business with being president.

  4. Fellow Nigerians, my brothers and sisters, President Jonathan is not a saint, He may have not done well in some key areas but Gen Buhari is not a better option for now. The party that chose him as their flag bearer ahead of formidable candidates like Atiku, Rochas, Kwankwaso did not think well. Physically how can a 72year Old man stand the stress of the office of the president of Nigeria for the next 4years. Mere looking at him on TV and on campaign grounds shows he need rests rather than stress. Economically, the man has not managed his personal economy well. He is a general in the army, head of state 31st Dec 1983-17th Aug 1985 and latter headed the PTF for for some years during the unaudited and unaccountable Abacha and Abdusallam regimes. He had been receiving his pension and gratuity since after office up to date. IN ALL THESE YEARS HE HAS NEVER FIND A REASON TO INVEST, AND MANAGE A BUSINESS OF HIS OWN WHERE HE CAN EMPLOY SOME OF TEEMING JOBLESS YOUTHS HE IS SEEKING THEIR SUPPORT. HIS MANAGEMENT OF HIS PRIVATE BUSINESS WOULD HAVE GIVEN US THE CLUE OF HOW HE WILL MANAGE NIGERIA.
