Speaking to journalists at his palace in Lagos, Oba Akiolu who was happy with the outcome of the result used the opportunity to appeal to all politicians who contested saying, "It is not a do- or-die affair. All the candidates that lost the primaries yesterday are members of the same family, they are all my children."
Oba Akiolu said, "I have told the APC Governorship primary winner in Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode to embrace and work with everybody. We have started recording the victory.
Oba Rilwanu Akiolu praised the current Governor of Lagos State, Raji Fashola saying he has done his best and we are happy. What a joke. Fashola is clearly a rubber stamp governor just like the Oba is a rubber stamp traditional ruler for him to be publicly endorsing a candidate anointed by Tinubu when as the Oba and father of all, he should support no one. He has brought his stool into disrepute. The day will come when these shackles will be broken.
