North ungrateful parasites who have not appreciated the south for depending on their oil proceeds over the years.– Asari Dokubo

Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force, NDPSF, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari has again stated that desperate politicians from the northern Nigeria are ungrateful parasites who have not appreciated the south and especially the Niger-Delta for depending on their oil proceeds over the years.

Asari’s outburst was a reaction to the comments recently made by the Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido that staunch supporters of President Goodluck Jonathan such as Asari and Chief Edwin Clarke were making incisive statements in their bid to secure a second term for Jonathan.

Lamido had in his statements decried the candidacies of Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and General Muhammadu Buhari of All Progressives congress, APC.

He was quoted as saying that the duo were capable of setting Nigeria ablaze with their ambition.

But reacting to the statement, Asari who was also the former national President of Ijaw Youth Council, IYC and Jonathan’s kinsman in a telephone chat  said that the north was bleeding over their loss of political power.

He stated that until the zone disabuse its mind from the mentality of “born to rule”, they would continue to meet stiff resistance from their southern counter-part.

“The president will win. There is no other option. If they contest they are wasting their time. He who pays the piper will dictate the tune. We own them. We are feeding them. They are parasites. A beggar has no choice. In all religions, in Islam, every where… if you are a beggar, you will respect the one who gives to you. They are beggars and parasites.”

    3. True talk, That blunder called Nigerian would not have come up in 1914 if there was oil in the northern. The greed of the British gave rise to this problem called Nigeria. They did it because they discovered that the northerners are of less intellectual capacity amongst other tribes in Nigeria, therefore they empowered them to be in power to ensure easy manipulation. Otherwise, They come intend the Nigerian area the Calabar, but observed that southerners were of high intellectual capacity, therefore will be difficult to manover, therefore They had to glue them to fools to accomplish their desires.

    1. So in you mind its OK to make such statements at a time like this ehn ok.
Some of you south south people are trying to start something you can't control.
If this country splits like you guys want it, you think you will enjoy your oil in peace, with your over 70 tribes always spoiling for a fight with each other and only 1 percent of the population actually enjoying the oil wealth?
The ijaws are the biggest noisemakers now but do they actually think the urhobos/itsekiris/isokos/etc will just sit down and allow dem rule when a south south nation is formed.
You people should think well o

Simply because a few like the toothless jackass called Asari are the ones in control. Accept Change, Accept Positivity come 2015 so that the wealth can be well managed and you will then get to feel the impact.

  10. Asari has said it all. Northerners shut up! Your Generals shared our oil wells within themselves when they held power for more than 35 years. What do they have to show as development with billions of our oil money for their people. Thiefing swines! Just 4years that our son GEJ has been on the saddle, you're shouting! Parasites!

  11. The north would have left nigeria if they had the oil and they surely would not have allowed anyone else rule them. Thier elites would have been billionaires like they are now and the masses poor and illiterate like they are now. North and south should not have been one country. Our differences manifests in everything nigeria tries to do. The national conference is a case in point. What a bitter ungrateful enemy of progress.

  12. The North never wanted to be part of 'Nigeria'! If you have any sense of history, you will know that. You will then also know that the cotton, groundnuts, cattle, tin and columbite from the North constituted the economic mainstay of Nigeria (of course cocoa from the S/West, kernel palm from the S/South and coal from the S/East were mere supplements) long before your oil and all its curses came to be discovered. Asari, you have such a short memory; and all of you who believe he is saying the truth, you are so naive.
