Governor James Ngilari of Adamawa State has pledged his support for the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in state, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
Speaking during Ribadu’s visit to the Government House in Tola on Tuesday, Ngilari promised to rally support for Ribadu in order to ensure victory for the PDP in the 2015 general elections and to ensure that the party remains in power.
Ngilari stated that the Ribadu’s emergence was divine, which he said informed his decision to cooperate with the candidate, adding that with a well entrenched person like the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial crimes Commission, it would not be difficult for the party to retain its seat in 2015 elections in the state.
“As a party member, one has to take anything that comes in good faith and therefore we are going to work together to ensure victory in the forth coming election,” Ngilari said.
Ribadu promised to carry all aggrieved members of the party along for the success of the party in 2015.
He said, “As for me, all PDP aspirants and other members of the party are equal. People know me as a hard working person and I
