Doyin Okupe, Senior Special Assistant to the President Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affairs has described the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate as a religious bigot, adding that, the former Head of State is a non-issue.

Okupe then wrote that Buhari is not even a nationalist as is widely believed. “Buhari is a religious bigot and there is nothing he can do about that. He is not even a nationalist.
“Buhari is trying to make poverty a virtue, but poverty is not a virtue. The fact that Buhari has left office for so long and he says he is so poor, is nothing to celebrate. It is indolence and shameful.
“Is that a role model? Is that who (Buhari) you will want your children to be, a poor man? Indolence is not something we should celebrate. If a man like Buhari at his age says he is a poor person,that is too bad and it is also a deceit. For me as a Nigerian, Dr Okupe's (who obviously and shamefully lacks personal integrity) attempt to cast aspersion on the person of another individual who has (to everyone's knowledge) disciplined himself from feasting on the resources of the people, shows that Dr Okupe totally lacks moral/cultural values and good upbringing.
ReplyDeleteFor the records, every Nigerian that is knowledgeable in history knows how Gen Buhari contributed to the development of our dear Nation's Oil Industry just to mention a few.
For the fact that many admirers of Gen Buhari are Christians, it obviously show that Gen Buhari has lived a life worthy of emulation as against the erroneous impression, Dr Okupe is struggling to give.
Dr Okupe is struggling to fight the truth. That is why in his desperation, he can be senseless enough to compare corrupt and inept GEJ with Jesus Christ. What a laugh.
For the records, Dr Okupe is known to have collect money for government contracts without doing the contracts. Dr Okupe is also known to be a pathological liar which is unprecedented in history of a Remo person.
Dr Okupe statement is just same as saying that every clergy (Reverend, Pastor, Bishop, etc) who is poor cannot be an example to anyone except they are rich in wealth rather than being rich in character.
Gen Buhari any day any time is rich in character and godly virtues whereas Dr Okupe and his cohorts are desperately lacking in them.
God will save Nigeria from the "One Chance Presidency" called GEJ in the might name of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.
