The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State, western Nigeria, has appointed one of the party’s chieftains, Cardinal James Odunmbaku as its campaign chairman for the forthcoming 2015 general elections.
According to the state APC chairman in Lagos State, Ajomale while making the announcement on Monday at the party secretariat, described Odunmbaku as a trusted hand.
The statement had it that Ajomale enjoined Odunmbaku to immediately swing into action and ensure that he carries out his duties diligently as expected of him, adding that since the committee has been inaugurated, the party expects him to swing into action.
According to a release signed by Seyi Bamigbade, Odunmbaku was appointed by the leadership of APC in the state after wide consultations.
The statement read in part: “APC in Lagos State is committed to excellence within the party system. We are committed to maintaining the strong internal structure within the party and hope for a result oriented election in 2015.
