The All Progressives Congress on Wednesday said that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party has ruined Nigeria in its 16 years of government in the country.
The National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, who made this known at an event to mark the sixth anniversary of the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, in Benin, explained that the country had come under total hardship in the hands of the federal government, which he said had failed Nigerians in all aspects.
Oyegun lamented that the security situation in the country’s North-East region had continued to worsen by the day despite the presence of the nation’s armed forces.
He said, “Today, the country is being destroyed by the totally clueless, totally purposeless, totally lost PDP.
“The town of our Chief of Defence Staff was taken without a single shot being fired.
He commended the state governor for facilitating development in a state, which, he said had suffered neglect under the 10-year leadership of the PDP in the state.
He said that the APC was ready for the challenges in the 2015 general elections and would emerge victorious in order to bring back the nation’s glory through the provision of quality infrastructure, education, youth employment and other dividends of democracy.
On his part, the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, accused the PDP-led federal government of starving the states of funds, with the purpose of hindering development.
He also faulted the federal government’s attitude towards the security challenges in the country and the sufferings of the people in the North-East.
He said that President Goodluck Jonathan had shown that he was insensitive to plight of the people of Potiskum in Yobe State, who recently lost no fewer than 46 student to insurgency, by “stepping on their blood and dancing on their graves” when he came out to declare his intention to contest next year’s presidential election on Tuesday. ReplyDeletePlease be careful on how you use God name, am very sure that you are just perhaps 1% of Nigeria who can say our dear mr president is performing, either you naive about the reality on ground or you are just lying to yourself. Anyway governing a big nation like ours is not an easy task, but please don't lets our ethnics sentiment becloude our sense of reasoning, let's not call white a black and black a pink lets put hands together for change that you and l honestly no we don't av it at sight now.

Jonathan or whoever becomes Nigerian president will always be my dear president. After all, none of those attempting to contest with GEJ from APC is better than him. We know their antecedents. Buhari overthrew a democratically elected president. Atiku has always been a part of our problem. Kwankwaso is a sectional leader. With our support and prayers Jonathan will certainly do well. My brother, those who share my opinion are in the majority and you will know the truth when GEJ is elected for the second term in 2015. God bless Nigeria!
