Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, on Saturday, said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) could not determine his fate as Speaker of the House.
The Speaker told newsmen on the sideline of the All Progressives Congress (APC) North-West Zonal Executive meeting in Kaduna.
According to him, only God and members of the House of Representatives can decide his fate.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Tambuwal, who came to the meeting without his security details, was surrounded by party members and associates.
Earlier, the APC Vice-National Chairman, North-West, Mr Inuwa Abdulkadir, had told the gathering that the meeting was to address topical issues bothering the party in particular and the nation in general.
He said “issued that will bring about national harmony and promote national development among others are what we are here to discuss.’’
Abdulkadir said APC was waxing stronger by the day, based on the calibre of people who continue to join the party, among them Tambuwal.
He described the development as a sign that the party was the only political platform that could bring about the change Nigerians desired.
The vice national chairman advised Nigerians to ensure that they collected their voter cards, cast their votes and ensure that their votes were counted. (NAN) Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

ReplyDeleteIf PDP cannot decide your fate, we Nigerians' has decided your fate as no go area, period
ReplyDeleteWe have clowns in this forum. Only one or two commentators will refer to themselves as Nigerians to speak for 150 million people. Ridiculous posture indeed. The clock is clicking and political terrain is becoming slippery for the actors. According to Jacques in a popular Williams Shakespeare's book noted that "All the world is a stage and all men and women are merely players. They have their exits and entrances". I remember that Hon. Ume Ezeoke was once the Speaker of the lower house some years past and he is no more today. All human beings shall become history, then why all these trouble. Please do your best and leave the rest.
