The All Progressives Congress presidential aspirant, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Friday held a closed-door meeting with the former President Olusegun Obasanjo, at his Hilltop presidential residence in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
His meeting also with Obasanjo was not unconnected with his presidential ambition in 2015.
Kwankwaso had earlier met with the executive council of the Ogun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, where he sought their support to win the party’s ticket at the primaries.
He said, “Let me assure you that APC in 2015 will have the capacity to curtail the problems in the North-East and recover seized states from Boko Haram. By the grace of God, change is necessary in 2015, let’s join hands.”
Kwankwaso, who lamented the security crisis in the country, said thousands of Nigerians had been displaced, turning them to refugees in neighbouring countries of Chad and Cameroun.
The Kano State Governor, a former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, pointed out that for peace to return to the country, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party must be voted out.
He also appealed to the Ogun State Chapter of the APC to put its house in order in the interest of the party and forthcoming general elections.
Chairman of APC in the state, Mr. Roqeeb Adeniji, said the party would give him the necessary support.
He said the party was well grounded in the state, in spite of the crisis which led to the exit of some members, but added that the party would work to bring back those who had left.
Adeniji said despite the crisis the party was going through, they would win the governorship election convincingly and also repeat the same feat at the federal level by winning the Presidency. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

ReplyDeleteNa mumu people dey go see am. The malams and abokis
DeleteHe has become the Oracle which GEJ refuse to bow to other than the Almighty God!
DeleteIs he King Elizabeth?
ReplyDelete@prince emma nd ur second mumu,if OBJ be ur father u ll b proud of him.
ReplyDeleteThe same Tambuwal met him, and now he is disappointed, desperate, deceived and final became mentally strangled ending with jumping or scale fence as a thief. Obasanjo has no good to offer Nigerian, but doom. Anybody following him is doing that at his/her political nose-diving.As it stands now OBJ has no political value as he no political constituency/followership neither in Ogun/yoruba or elsewhere in nigeria. Is he not there Jonathan is re-claiming back western states. None of his tribesmen except tinubu who is same as him goes to him. Tinubu did it only ones. What has become of Tambuwal after so many visits and meetings with OBJ, where OBJ deceived him to believe he would make him president. Perhaps he advised Tambuwal to scale the fence with other, to register his anger, which is a of desperation and defeat. Note it Kwakwanso will equally end up like tambuwal, loss, frustrated and insanity. Tambuwal wants to end his life in prison as he has no hope. He should face their master OBJ who has misled him and not transferring his aggression to GEJ. GEJ oppositions have nothing to offer. Buhari's past history is hunting him, he has no good on record to tell nigerians he did while in the govt. Atiku is not better. Kwakwanso is malam mumu/zombie (cow) and others are OBJ gang he tried to use destroy PDP which did not work. He is only an agent of OBJ, like Tambuwal, he will later discover it later and there is nothing at the of tunnels. OBJ is using them for his selfish ambition of disrupting the govt, to unseat GEJ. Which cannot happen as there is God enthroned GEJ. That is why all of them are resorting to violence. Violence is the only option APC has. Kill all and take the power.
ReplyDeleteAn elder is an Elder any day. What this man (Obasanjo) carries 98% of Nigerians don't have it. If you need to grow, you need Elder's around you. I enjoin you to learn to respect Elders and the same time bezique you to go for Elders as you will become one tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteObasanjo should put his family in order first. If he cannot deal with such a simple matter, I don't see how he can deal with the complexities of 2015. And as for Kwakwanso has he disbanded the Sharia Police in Kano yet? I don't think we need a president whose thinking is at the sharia level in 2015.
