Subscribers to the telecommunications service provider, MTN Nigeria will, as from Friday (tomorrow), have the opportunity to recharge their phones for as low as N10.
The Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, Bayo Adekanmbi, revealed this in a statement on Thursday.
The statement quoted Adekambi to have said that the initiative, to be launched in Kano, was to ensure that no Nigerian was shut out of the values that the network offers.
It stated, “Apart from making it possible for customers to purchase airtime at the lowest rates, it also offers opportunities for small scale entrepreneurs to sell low-unit portion packs of recharge cards as a new revenue stream. Again, everyday people such as Maishayi, neighbourhood stalls, housewives, students, etc would also benefit immensely from this proposition.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

This is not what we NIGERIAN.were asking for.Reduce your tarrif now.
ReplyDeleteReduce it to what sir? kindly give a suggestion.
Deletereduce it to N1 per min. In the UK and some other countries, calls to same network is free of charge. Like Lycamobile, T-mobile, Lebara, O2 are all free voice calls if to same network. Charges are only applied when they call outside their own network.
DeleteNot all of the mobile operators are pay as you go. Lyca and lebara does free call within cos they are new in market. O2 and tmobile you must kinda be on contract except it has changed cos im no longer in UK. Nigerians are cheapskate they want best for nothing but wont do best for nothing. All I want from mtn is unlimited or 5gb data for every subscriber for as low as 2000 or something reasonable. Then they have the luxury of using voip to make calls at no charge.
