Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, has said several countries are interested in hiring him if he is sacked by Nigeria.
Keshi has come under heavy criticisms following his team poor performance in the African Nations Cup qualifiers, africanFottball.com reports.
The former Eagles captain, who is presently coaching the team in interim capacity, told africanFootball.com, “It’s not about the game, it’s about other personal stuff. So, if tomorrow they say Keshi leave, there is no shaking because there are two or three countries waiting for me.
“My job is about hire and fire.
“I have coached in other places before and I was not fired. If it comes down to Nigeria, I have been here before, qualified Nigeria for 2002 World Cup with Amodu Shaibu and we were asked to leave.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

Better stop deluding yourself, do you think those countries are blind to lack of technical ability and bais in player selection. It is after you have put the country in a mess that you can now open your mouth to talk, because you know there in no future for you here. God always finds a way to humble arrogant people like you. We shall see.

ReplyDeleteleave keshi alone. He deserves to be commended even in the face of failure. life is all about success and failure, when keshi succeeded we all applauded him. Now he is failing let us encourage him with positive criticism let us not destroy him with negative criticism. He can still rise even though he seems to be falling. Least we forget He still has a good record as far as coaching the super eagles is concerned. If he wants to go fine, we have coaches in Nigeria that can do far better if they are given the chance.
ReplyDeleteGuys relax now. This is someone who has won naija laurels both as a player and a coach. Agreed he has an attitude problem but so do most of us in Naija nao. Imagine Keshi's wife, children, siblings or parents reading all these comments, do you think they will be happy?
ReplyDeleteIt was comments like this that made Enyeama almost dump Naija after world cup o. We should develop better ways to air our views and not insult our true national heroes abeg
ekpa, fool
ReplyDeleteWhat are u guys (anonymous 10:31AM & 11:03) saying, that Keshi should b praised for repeating the same deliberate mistakes and failing repeatedly? 'Habaa! Dia ris God ooooo!!!! We need a foreign coach, enough of local coaches men!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete@anonymous 1:49pm we can air our views without insults. Some terms used here are too harsh now haba eg @anonymous 12:51pm
