Popular Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji of www.lindaikeji.blogspot.com has been shut down by Google due to a claim about alleged plagiarism/copyright infringement by a cybersquatter with the twitter handle ‘AyeDee.’
According to Linda, Ayedee informed Google, about alleged plagiarism/copyright infringement of his works on her blog; and Google has finally shut down the blog.
Prior to its shutdown, Linda Ikeji, emerged one of the most successful online entrepreneurs in Nigeria, and has been rated amongst Nigeria’s most influential young women.
After she was hit with multiple allegations of plagiarism with critics allegedly prodding Google to suspend the blog.

However Linda denied lifting materials without proper attribution.
On Tuesday, Linda argued that her blog came under attack by her competitors driven by envy over her success.
Linda recently displayed her newly acquired SUVs worth millions of Naira which must have angered the anti-Linda camp who pressed charges.
