ReplyDeleteWhy must we remain silent as the leadership of this nation continues to rape the country? How many billions of naira does it cost for Jonathan and his false prophets and pretenders troop to Jerusalem and Saudi Arabia on pilgrimage? And how much does the nation get in return? This nonsense needs to stop. If the president and his henchmen want to pray, they can do so in Lagos and God will hear them if they are sincere. They don't need to go to Jerusalem or Saudi Arabia to do so. They haul tons of money out of the country during these pilgrimages and return more corrupt than they were before they left. Do you ever hear about the United States President, the British Prime Minister, or the Canadian PM go on pilgrimage? The immediate question from these countries will be who will pay for it? The leadership of our country have this audacity of wastage and the citizenry remains silent and uncaring. The we wonder why there's no electricity, clean water, jobs for the citizens, etc while we waste our money on pilgrimage. Nigeria, Awake!!

My question is d money 4 this pilgrimage, is it from their pocket or from public taxes? If from their pocket no wahala! But if from our taxes, is unfair,my people.

ReplyDeleteThere's so much illiteracy, immaturity, ignorance, prejudice and disrespect in many comments here. There's acute corruption in Nigeria. There's deadly insecurity also. Muslim heads of state have consistently gone on hajj over the years. Why haven't there been this outcry? Jonathan is a Pentecostal Christian, so the presence of Pastor Ayo and Bishop Oyedepo. Jonathan has always prayed. He was there last year. It's a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. What's wrong with that? He didn't go to Hawaii or Monte Carlo.
