The Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has asserted that any Nigerian who decides to vote for PDP in the 2015 elections could be seen as one of those conniving with the party to sell the rights of Northern Nigerian people.
To this end, the forum said the Northern People have lost confidence in the Northern Governors who in 2011 elections entered a secret deal with President Jonathan to contest that election without necessarily telling their constituencies about their unbecoming acts.
The Forum Secretary Professor Ango Abdullahi who stated this during an interview at his office in Bauchi said that the secret deal was later confirmed by President Goodluck Jonathan himself.
According to him, “the Northern Governors should be bold to tell President Jonathan that he has no right to contest election based on their earlier agreement reached for power rotation between the North and South parts of the country under the auspices of the PDP”
“It was only recently that the Governor of Niger State who is currently the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum came out with the revelation that they had a secret deal with Jonathan to contest the 2011 elections”, .
“Common sense should have dictated to PDP that there would be four years to pay the North back from 2011 but as you have already seen, the Governors sold it out, they sold us and the North out”, He lamented.
Abdullahi wondered why the Niger State Governor is still supporting the candidature of President Jonathan for 2015 , describing the action as mere sell-out of the Northern people. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

ReplyDeleteJonathan is a nigerian and as a nigerian he has the right to contest for any office in nigeria but nigerians should not vote for him cos he has no qualities of leadership,he is to and he no vision as a leader.
ReplyDeleteIn addition, he is dull extraordinarily besides, he has no bearing, switchew!!
DeleteIf we no vote for him na ur papa we go vote for idiot
ReplyDeleteWe are getting issue mixed up. If may asked is PDP the only party in Nigeria. You are free to decamped if the structure on ground id not favourable. It means that the PDP has evil agenda to destroyed this country and impoverished the cetenzry. Come together under APC or other political party and elect credible leader if you have good agenda to move this nation forward.
ReplyDeleteBrothers how long are we going be seeing all empty brain northerners,,,
ReplyDeleteNow who is the presidential candidate buhari,, or gangwanzo, Atiku,, abi na tonubo,, Nigerians tell me who,, Jonathan is better then all empty Brian,, buhari should live Nigerians alone now,, they should allow other tribes to have there time if actually is rotational,, they handle this country for 3yrs now,, from general to interim government,, to another general,, not until there tricks end with yaradua,, they should sleep allow us to have peace,, or 2015 will play it all,, the civil war was a firm tricks this time am sorry for them...maybe there will be no excepting name like Hausa again in the history of Nigeria,,,
Watch and see
All the APC presidential candidates are not worth being the president of Nigeria, am sorry but instead of vote for any of them I'll prefer votig in GEJ
ReplyDeleteWhen you people accuse Jonathan of being dull, clueless and inactive, it only suggests to me that Nigerians are allergic to good Democratic governance. Maybe because he did not give others to the military to carry out a brutal invasion of the sambisa forest to free the Chibok girls. You and I know that they would have only succeeded in bring back those girls as corpses. Or maybe he should have agreed to the terms of releasing the Boko haram commanders in custody in swap for the Chibok girls. I'm certain a lot of your loud mouths would have criticized it the way some of you went to the international community to tell them the army was commiting genocide and killing innocent northerners, while they were fighting your northern sons who are actually the Boko haram we are fighting.
ReplyDeleteIs it the Nigerian army that is dominated by northerners who have not performed well because most of the northern combatants are sympathetic with Boko haram boys who are their brothers. They were always aiding them by giving out classified information which was actually why the Boko boys were more successful than the Nigerian army.
If this country had any enemy,it is the north. Why are you feeling cheated when you have actually been in power more than any other part of the country since independence. We don't want the north any more,if this country has been backward, you people have contributed most to it.
