The Nigeria Police has announced the release of one of the remaining 219 girls abducted by Boko Haram insurgents in a secondary school in Chibok, Borno state.
Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, told a press conference at the National Information Centre routine briefing in Abuja that the girl was dropped off by the insurgents along Mubi Road in Borno State at about 5pm on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the government says it has also commenced a process of de-radicalizing the 135 Boko Haram members who surrendered their weapons within the last two weeks.
The Coordinator of the National Information Center, Mr Mike Omeri said the process is to re-integrate them into the society. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

What kind of integration is that, either they surrender or not, they need be killed, what about the soldiers they killed, what about the innocent civilians they killed, including innocent children, scores of students or u people have forgotten all these so soon, and you people are saying u want to integrate such people. U want them to start underground regrouping again and build a deadlier sheikou, what a stupid idea
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of integration is that pls pls get all the information you can get from them. And kill them immediately they are not worth integratiing into the society .
ReplyDeleteIf you integrate them then release all the armed robbers in the prisons nation wide and integrate them also. Most of these Boko haram have killed dozens of civilians, women and children including those they have adopted so much more than some of the armed robber in the nations prisons.
