Super Eagles striker, Osaze Odemwingie, has undergone a successful surgery on his injured knee, africanFootball.com reports.
The former Lokomotiv Moscow and Cardiff City forward disclosed this on his Twitter handle Tuesday.
“Heard we won and @ Muniesa92 scored twice! What a day and win!! More good news for us potters as MY SURGERY TODAY ALSO WENT WELL!” he tweeted.
Odemwingie injured his knee while in action for Stoke City in a 1-0 win over Manchester City on August 30.
The striker played for only 15 minutes in that game.
