Davis revelations: Nigerians’ll hear from us soon — Boko Haram

More stunning revelations on the relationship among Boko Haram, the government and the Australian negotiator, Dr. Stephen Davis, may be unveiled by the sect’s leadership this week.

The move, according to a source close to the sect, is to put the record straight and clear the air on several controversial issues contained in the interview by the Australian to the media last week.

The source said last night that the leadership of Boko Haram was upset by most of the claims made by the negotiator and was set to make a categorical position on all the issues raised by Davis in the media.

“Nigerians will soon hear from the sect leadership concerning all the issues raised by the negotiator, who, in any case was not hired by the Federal Government to dialogue with the group.

“In fact, what the man has said has really infuriated the sect leadership and they are unhappy with him,” the Nigerian negotiator said.

“As far as the sect leadership is concerned, Davis is being used by some politicians to score some points and they are ready to clear the air on the issues.

    1. I agree with you that Shekau and Boko Haram should go to hell. The ruling party and the opposition have been engaged in a blame game for long but neither was able to prove their case. The source of this story is questionable- who is this source that is close to the sect that we never know before? The proven source of any contact with Boko Haram is Reverend Stephen Davis but vested interests are desperate in trying to rubbish his revelation.
But I disagree with you about Muslims and violence. If you are not ignorant of world affairs then you should know that all the countries you mentioned were peaceful and politically stable prior to western interference. Christians are the root of all violence as they manufacture all the weapons, sold it to the Arabs, sowed the seed of discord between them and physically participate to ensure that wars happened. The most technologically developed Arab country in the world today is Iran and their success is basically because they refuse to allow western meddling in their country. Some violence committed by Christians in history include the genocide against millions of American Indians, the transatlantic slave ttade and the middle passage massacres, the scramble, partition and colonization of Africa, Asia and the Americas, the murder of hundreds of thousands of Australian Pygmies, the Nazi holocaust, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Korean and Vietnam wars, the creation of Israel, the invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria and the sponsoring of coups, assassinations and imposition of tyrant leaders in the middle east just to mention a few.

  7. It all means the Australian was dancing to the tune of his sponsors by lying to Nigerians. He claimed Bokoharam told him and Bokoharam is now denying him, that he probably lied against them by twisting the information to suit Davis sponsors. It is proper and natural when somebody misunderstand and therefore misrepresents or misinterprets you for such a person to quickly correct it. Do we believe Davis over Bokoharam he claimed gave him the information? NO !!!!!

For the Anonymous 10:37 am, how can you say BK is not happy when their sponsors are exposed whereas according to Davis' claims it was BK who gave him those names. I believe the intention would have to let the world or Nigeria know those behind their activities which I still doubt BK will ever give out the names of their true sponsors even at gun point let alone when they are at the comfort of their camp, and where the Questioner was their captive. It has proven difficult or impossible to get arrested/caught BK members to confess to security services their sponsors even at threat of death or promise of release, so how could they tell Davis their true sponsors and then turn around deny it and got angry wit him for lying against them and deceiving Nigerians. I am very sure BK is angry for associating them with their arch enemy (who they may have infidel) who nearly flushed them out of Nigeria. This can only be possible unless they are seeking for revenge or vendetta by trying to falsely fabricate such allegations against Ihejirika. This is common weapon by criminal to settle scores with their enemies by falsely implicating them in a crime such person knows nothing about. I have personally had such an experience or been a victim, that is why i am so sure this is same game BH is playing. They may be denying now because majority of Nigerians understand strategy and so did not buy Davis lies/pranks, it is not true. So they ve decided to save their face by denying it, if at all BK said such a thing.
If Davis had got his information from another source, to some extent one will say it may hold water, but now his claimed source is likely saying he twisted and misinterpreted/misrepresented/misunderstood them and wants to bring out the truth. It is doubtful Davis is saying the truth. He is a mercenary of opposition, APC and his cohorts once said it Fed Govt that hired him, but from emerging facts now it is not true.
If we say BK is not happy Davis exposed their sponsors, the question is did they (BK) not know Davis as part of his assignment/agenda and findings would report to his sponsors names of those they mentioned as sponsors?
Extracting the names of the sponsors of BH should be major achievement and milestone for such a mission anywhere. Boko haram themselves knows if such information was given it would definitely get into the reports by Davis. So no doubt that BH knew Davis would report it if they have mentioned them to Davis. But it may be Davis lied and deceived Nigerians, so BH will want to clear the air. I hope they bring out the truth, not to use the opportunity to revenge against Ihejirika. As still believe it is impossible for Ihejirika to sponsor Bh. There is nothing whatever he stands to gain.

    1. Save this long grammar and simply encourage for proper investigation of Sheriff and Ihejirika. If Buhari, IBB, Atiku or any northern leader is mentioned you'll at the forefront of calling for their head. But because an Igbo man is accused you people are stoutly in his defence. Rubbish.

  8. I dont know why on earth Ihejirika should be sponsoring Boko Haram. The truth has not been said. I believe Boko Haram cannot reveal their real sponsors to the world..
