Ogun state, Please re-elect my husband - Olufunso Amosun

The wife of Ogun State governor, Olufunso Amosun, has begged the people of the state to re-elect her husband, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, for second term in office as a paid back gesture for his level of performance so far.

The governor’s wife who was addressing party supporters and loyalists at Sokori, Abeokuta, weekend, at the empowerment programme organised by a member of the state House of Assembly representing Abeokuta North, Mr. Olayiwola Ojodu.

She claimed that her husband’s second term in office would consolidate the current infrastructural development being executed in different parts of the state.

According to her , I am always happy when I am called upon to inaugurate projects like this. This is how development can get to the grass roots.

“Again, projects like this will complement what the governor is doing. He’s always on the move, working. If you believe he has performed well, you have to show this by voting him in for second term”, she said.

Mrs Amosun later told the party loyalists to emulate Ojodu, within the resources at their disposal, stressing that they did not have to the first ladies, governors or members of the House of Assembly, to empower their neighbours.

She added, “In our little corners, we can help the next person. To some people N10,000 will make a lot of difference in their lives. While to some others N1,000 will do the same.

  1. This is a good governors wife asking that the husband should be voted for the 2nd tenor. But where does the governor belong to if he is in APC I am afraid because APC is a boko Haram sponsor even if you like work like jacky ones you are BH no one will vote for you.. So better advise him to realign himself and declear his stand and denounc all the enemies of Nigeria including APC

  2. Good one but, the administration neglected Yewa South Entirely, the road from Ilaro through owode, Ado-Odo to Ikoga (the lagos state boundary) is in a sorry state. you may take a tour and see things yourself. From Ado-Odo to Ikoga is the worst, to vehicles can not by pass each other, one will have to pack for the other to pass before continuing its journey. we need dividend of Democracy too, in these localities.
your husband needs to do something- we need the assurance that these roads will get his priority attention in the 1st quarter of the next regime.
