Fashola swears in new Special Adviser

Gov. Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State on Monday restated the commitment of his administration to efficient service delivery in the state.
Fashola made the pledge at the administration of oath of office on Mr Folorunsho Folarin- Coker, the new Special Adviser on Central Business District (CBD).
The governor gave an assurance that his administration would continue to develop the state and meet the aspirations of the people.
Fashola congratulated the new Special Adviser on the appointment and tasked him on responsibilities associated to his office.
He said that his duties were not to the government alone, but also to the residents of the state, promising to give him the necessary support.
The governor urged Folarin-Coker to work with stakeholders within the CBD to bring more transformation to the districts and improve revenue generation.
Fashola called for the understanding of the new appointee’s family as the new responsibility would demand more time out of home.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the appointment of Folarin-Coker followed the resignation of Mrs Derin Disu as Special Adviser on CBD.
A release signed by Mr Hakeem Bello, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media on June 13 had said Disu resigned to devote more time to family and business.
The statement had also quoted Fashola as commending Disu for her meritorious service to the state as Special Adviser.

What does he want to render to Lagostians at this late hour after they make Lagos unberable to some people while most people have relocated back to the village due to frustration from his government, we need government that will serve its citizens in truth and spirit.
