WATCH VIDEO: We will never release the Chibok girls until our imprisoned members are released - Shekau boasts

In a new video released by Islamist militants Boko Haram, the group’s leader, Abubakar Shekau has said the abducted girls would be held until all imprisoned militants are freed.

Watch video below....

He said the girls had converted to Islam. The video, released on Monday, claims to show them praying.

Boko Haram abducted more than 200 girls from Chibok, Borno state, Northern Nigeria on April 14 and threatened to sell them.

NigerianEye's review of the video suggests that Boko Haram’s comments showed signs that the group were willing to negotiate.

Three of the girls are shown speaking in the 17-minute video, obtained by French news agency AFP, wearing the full-length hijab.

Two girls say they were Christian and have converted to Islam, while the other says she is Muslim.

In the video the girls appeared calm and one said that they had not been harmed.

  1. This is Photoshop, why did they not say their names, why has no parent identify any of the girls in the video???. The north is just being economical with the truth. No girl was abducted, this is just a scam to discredit Jonathan Good luck.

    1. As a strong President, he would have picked up an ak47 and gone to sabissa forest?
The military is infiltrated and no one is complaining of the commanders, generals and the security advisers.
There is a lot happening which we don't know. We need some patience

  8. Wow. Lord, save these girls.
If i were the intelligence agencies, I would go to all the neighbouring markets to ask if anyone or any group of people recently purchased about 200 hijabs. All those hijabs were given to the girls and they were bought from somewhere. If they can find the market it was bought from, they will be much much closer to identifying the perpetrators and also to finding these girls.
Honestly, I am just tired of this religion of peace... na gaji! If it isn't capturing slave girls in Nigeria today, it's burning of historic church cites in Syria or car bombs in Iraq or general chaos and madness in Egypt or an invasion in Mali or missile strikes in Pakistan or torturing female workers in Saudi Arabia... the list goes on!! Na gaji... I am tired! E don do! Mo wa bani oh!
Truly, only Jesus is the prince of peace!

    1. Bokoharam is the perfect representation of what islam is all about.

Muslims who commit acts of violence and terror in the name of God, can find ample justification for their actions, based on the teachings of the Qur'an and the sayings and examples from prophet Muhammad himself!
The following are only some of the verses in the Qur'an that can and have been used in the history of Islam in support of violence in the name of God and the glories of martyrdom in a holy war.
9:5 "... fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war) ..."

9:14 "Fight them, and God will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame ..."

9:29 "Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and his apostle nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth (even if they are) of the people of the Book, until they pay the Jizya [religious tax] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."

47:4 "Therefore, when ye meet the unbelievers, smite at their necks, at length when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them) ... but if it had been God's will, he could certainly have exacted retribution from them (himself), but (he lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the way of God, he will never let their deeds be lost."

61:4 "Truly God loves those who fight in His cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure."

2:190-193 "Fight in the cause of God those who fight you ... And slay them wherever ye catch them ... And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression and there prevail justice and faith in God ..."
4:101 "... For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies."
5:54 "O ye who believe. Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors. They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily God guideth not a people unjust."

  9. Our major concern now should be how this girls can be released to their parents then others thongs can follow. We should stop blaming each other for now. Let us be focused on the strategies on how to get girls back to their parents for now. Let the children get their freedom then investigate on the lapses that led to their abduction and act accordingly.

  12. Terrorist,if you hide from president Jonathan etc you cannot hide from God.Nigeria is a great country and cannot be destroyed by a mere man.Your end and that of Boko Haram is near.Any organisation,Nation etc that fights against christians crumble.Christianity has a great future,Jesus christ did not die for nothing. You are just yielding your life to the devil to be used as his instrument of destruction.
