Akin Oni, aged 81 passed on this evening at his 22 Mcneil residence in Lagos as announced by his son, Biodun Oni, a sound recordist in the Nigerian film industry.
Akin Oni will be remembered for his service to the industry and training most of the prominent lighting technicians currently serving in the Nigerian film industry today.
