Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, has said that a politician, who was allegedly rigged into the senate from the prison, is not fit to contest the August 9 governorship election, let alone unseat him.
Aregbesola said this in Osogbo on Monday at the inauguration of 21 Roads Projects constructed by his administration. He said that the total number of the 21 roads was 26.31 kilometres.
He said, “God dethroned a general who fought in Monrovia, Mogadishu and in other war torn countries and now a former prisoner wants to unseat me. It is impossible’
“The general, who was sacked here was not a prisoner. It amuses me that a former prisoner, who went to the senate from prison is now the one threatening to unseat me.
“He did not win. The poll was rigged because our fathers were peace loving but they cannot try that now. If they attempt to rig, they will regeret it. Let me tell you, there are some people who are not even qualified to contest any election, let alone think of winning. Don’t be afraid of them.
“He is not fit to be a councillor because he did not win his ward. He cannot contest and win.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

Let us pray that the powers that rigged him into senate while in prison without campaign will not repeat similar feat for him this time.
ReplyDeleteIt is not possible anymore! Osun will give it all it will take. God bless Osun state
ReplyDeleteWHAT IS AREGBESOLA SAYING? LET WAIT AND SEE BECAUSE YOU HAVE SUCCEEDED TURING OSUN EDUCATION UPSIDE DOWN.
ReplyDeleteIs Aregbesola and his vampire boko haram better than the so called prisoner? so tell us the difference? or is it the APC that want to Islamise the country that we will cast our vote for? for you guys information Nigerians' are wiser than ever
ReplyDeleteAn ex-convict like Omisore; a murderer can't be elected as Osun state governor unless the election is officially rigged as usual but it can't happen for the fact that the good people of Osun state must resist such.
ReplyDeleteLet us wait and see.
I am surprised this yoruba people. Somebody who was clearly and cleanly suspected to be involved in killing a serving but respected minister /elderstateman is breathing safe in political arena but tomorrow they will be calling IBB and Abacha as murderer. Hypocrisy in highest order.
ReplyDeleteAregbesola should note that a responsible leader does not open his mouth too wide. Raise issues as far as Osun Governorship Election is concerned. Why do you think you qualify to continue as Governor of Osun State with all the mess you have created which you continue to create for generations yet unborn in Osun State. I know that God will surely stop you.
ReplyDeleteOmisore is far better than you, he is culture and matured. But in your own case, you are misusing your office too much. How do you substantiate your statement that Omisore is a murderer. The earlier Akande and other APC leaders call you to order, the better. E muso ni kiakia o.
