Lagos-Ore-Benin Road: Is the road much better, better, same or worse, Jonathan asks Nigerians

President Goodluck Jonathan has asked Nigerians, especially users of the popular Lagos-Ore-Benin Road to rate the work done so far.

In a tweet by his Special Assistant on New Media, Reno Omokri(@renoomokri), the president asked Nigerians to give honest assessment of the work done on the road.

The tweet reads, “Have you been on the Lagos-Ore-Benin Rd lately? Would you say the road is a. Much better b. Better c. Same or d. Worse? Honest Feedback pls.”

    1. Benin to ore is better but ore to lagos needs some touch. The return lane is not too good. In summary, u spend more hours returning from lagos than u spent going.

  6. Imagine! Smallest normal thing to do, ur duty, u'r now feelin on top of the world for dis when even u'r doin it for next election. Must the Government start relieving nigerians everytime when election is around the corner? The Government should pls sees all these as their Duty. And remember we still have many bad roads that is causing pains to Niderians. Thank u for repairing benin/ore road Mr. President i.e if the road is now in good condition o.

  14. b. Better
The road is better. The section from Benin to Ore is better than the section from Ore to Lagos. The FG should check the activities of Prayer ministries on the Lagos to Ore road because they cause problem for traffic.

  15. Most of you guys have not seen a good road before or even know how a standard looks. So stop commenting. Let's wait for 2yrs and see oif the road will still be available for use. And for me that should not be a question bcos there was no road before but now there is a small road. People deceive people.

  17. Have you ever seen or watched any developed country's president telling his people that he had done roads for them, supplied them with electricity e.t.c?. I believe your responses would be "NO", so why the noise?.

Construction of roads, provision of electricity, jobs and basic amenities are major responsibilities of any responsible govt. This is why you see govt of America and other developed nations speak about economy in their political campaigns and not " We will provide you with good roads, water supply, uninterrupted power supply e.t.c" which are phrases of Nigerian politicians.

  18. The road is now more better than during the time of OBJ.
