The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has allegedly made a move to increase the reputation of the Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, and to boost her moral.
A crowd of hired people, mainly women, staged a protest in Abuja in support of the embattled minister. Ms Alison-Madueke is currently under fire because of the controversy over the N10 billion spent on private jets.
According to SaharaReporters, several protesters disclosed to the newsmen that the organizers had promised each protester a reward in the amount of N5,000, after the event.
One of the protesters put her placard upside down either because she could not read the inscription on it, or because she absolutely did not care what has been written on it.

ReplyDeleteI am shivering as I am reading what has been printed on the placard. I now see what the Almighty God said in the holy book that leaders will be chosen based on the type(s) of their followers. How on earth will this type of mistake be ever made? This is very serious and not laughable.
ReplyDeleteIs this how to spell "LIVE" ? Would have thought it should be "LEAVE"?
ReplyDeletePoverty stricken women! See the calibre of people in support of an oil minister; that has already put she and the organisers to shame. That they can't even express themselves in correct English shows that they've failed!
