Canada, Spain condemn Abuja blast



Canada and Spain have strongly condemned Monday’s bombing which killed 71 people and left over 100 seriously injured.



Both countries want Nigerian government to do everything possible to bring those behind the heinous crime to book

Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister, John Baird, in a statement issued on Tuesday and made available to journalists in Abuja also said such brutal acts of terror cannot be allowed to go unpunished.

He also reaffirmed his country’s support to Nigeria as it tries to combats terrorism.

“Canada condemns in the strongest possible terms this cowardly terrorist attack during rush hour at a busy bus station in Abuja.

“On behalf of all Canadians, we extend our sincerest condolences to the families and friends of the innocent victims of this attack.

“Such brutal acts of terror cannot be allowed to go unpunished. Canada reaffirms its support to Nigeria as it combats terrorism,” he said.

Spain also condemned the incident, saying it will always support Nigeria’s fight against terrorism.

  1. Nigeria should be more careful about this countries that forced them to support gays marriage. Because this atrocities in Nigeria almost daily, can not be only boko haram,there must be other handwriting on the wall. Let them be watchful always as spy can come in many ways. Once country has spied to operate can be very easy for spymasters.
    But soon the Stick of Truth will revealed,God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is watching.
    He will surely send down his angels by fire and mighty to rescue Nigeria from all evils hands behind the killings of innocents poor people and progress of the nation.
