ABUJA BOMBING: Federal Government Is Clueless - APC

The All Progressive Party governors have reviewed the security situation in Nigeria, following today's attack in Abuja, and made the declaration that the Federal Government was out of ideas on tackling security issues.

According to APC, the Monday morning bomb blast in Nyanya, which killed no fewer than 88 Nigerians and injured over 200 others, is a clear indication that FG has no more ideas on how to checkmate terrorists and other criminals in the country.

The governors, who commiserated with the families of the blast, regretted that the death of innocent Nigerians had become a daily occurrence with little respite.

The statement, which was released by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, noted with concern that no fewer than 1000 innocent Nigerians had been slain in the last two weeks.

The PGF said the tragic deaths indicated a major failure on the part of the Federal Government.

The PGF noted: “As if failing to tackle the Boko Haram insurgency is not bad enough, the security situation has deteriorated to a level where so-called gunmen are now on the rampage across Nigeria, killing and maiming at will with no response from our poorly equipped and informed security operatives.

“Is it too much for government to, at the very least, identify the perpetrators of these terrible crimes?

  2. I bet u, Nigeria can never enjoy peace again. Even with APC government! BH was used as aggression against the present government but BH has extended it affliations to other world terriorist group that before they would retreat, their demands have to be met which is to islamise Nigeria. This is bigger trouble and doom for Nigeria. Even the so called Nigeria sponsors can't control them again becos it's more international than we see. I pray there is no war in this country. Nigerians! We have to Pray.

  4. Progressive Governors indeed...Retrogressive governors suits you guys the best. You are part of Governance and have continued to impoverish your various states in the guise of project execution..One continues to wonder why a state like rivers take billions of naira loans almost every quarter of the year...same thing is obtainable in most of the so called progressive states...In all, i do believe strongly that God'l visit evil doers in his anger.

  5. GEJ should sacrifice himself if that's what it takes, he should step down before the 2015 general election. If he can do this the he would have written his name in a platter of gold. If it's because of him that many lives are being taken then he should leave.

  6. anonymous 6:47am you are a coward. you may.be among those who suggested dialogue with bh. fg should bring out more sophisticated armoury to face them. look at a foreign investor saying in one of the dailies that our choice of presidential candidate will affect investment in nigeria. that is how to identify bh sponsors. gej is our choice. no going back.

  10. anonymous 8:84 AM; its a lie. it's a mare propaganda. pls do ur home work well on the foundation and developments on bh and u will appreciate that all our leaders have failed us and not buhari as the force behind it. only God can tell and the FG that knows the pple behind this evil and have decided to lockup bcos of their political interest at the expense of nigerian masses. buhari is not the problem but our FG. They know the pple/nations financing and equipping these evil men and have refused to act, with the mind that let the masses roast. it's sad. may the the bereaved be comforted and the souls of the departed rest in peace. I surely beliv FG is the bh or even worst than the bh. all indicators ve it clearly that FG is playing with lives of the masses. God save us from the hands of these evil politicians. save this generation.

God is watching, God is watching, killing and playing politices with people's life and they think they are doing it to GEJ.

  16. Give Gej clue since he does not have one or are u waiting for Nigerians to vote you in (A PC) first before you give ur suggestion to gej? What if everyone dies before then, who would you rules ? The buildings or roads ?. You (APC) are indicating that you are the sponsors of this group. God of Elijah please do not let the innocent die for nothing. Let the evil return to the owner and consume them all. I love both muslem and Christian but God help put peace in place in Nigeria .
