Native doctor in court charge with cheating 3 of N500,000

A native doctor, Abdul Idris,30, on Friday appeared in a Senior Magistrates' Court in Mararaba, Nasarawa State, charged with cheating three clients.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Aliyu Mohammed, told the court that Kefas William, Hassan Adamu and Danlami Giwa, lodged reports at the `A' Division Police Station in Mararaba on March13.
Mohammed said Idris deceived the accused into parting with N510,000, with a promise to prepare a charm that would enable them secure employment in the Nigerian Army.
He said after collecting the money, the accused absconded to an unknown destination until on was apprehended on March 13.
Mohammed said the offence contravened the provisions of Section 322 of the Penal Code.
If convicted, he faces three years in prison or with fine or with both.
After the charges were read to him, he pleaded not guilty.
The Senior Magistrate, Mr Jeremiah Danladi, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He ordered that the sureties must be reasonable and responsible and that one of them must be a civil servant not a grade level not below 14.

poor man in court and rich thief in court in Nigeria. we know how the case go go. useless judiciary. 500k how much was Yusuf( Pension guy) accused of and what was his fine?
