In the immediate aftermath of another attack by Boko Haram on Maiduguri, Borno state's capital, the Nigerian army has imposed a 24-hour curfew on the city.
The curfew has started at 2pm on Friday.
The residents have been instructed to keep indoor.
According to a military source, the decision was made after a speedy study of a "security situation" arising from the renewed recent attacks by the Islamist sect.
On Friday morning, Boko Haram insurgent dressed in military uniform invaded Maiduguri.
They were shooting sporadically and attempted to invade the Giwa Barracks. Three explosions were heard in the city.

The military are doing good work,need to be commended.I will suggest,instead of wasting time in arresting and detaining the terrorist,why not kill them for once.
