He added that rather than account for the alleged missing $20bn oil revenue, it kept giving untenable excuses.
Tinubu said, “They are so shameless that the number of years they have ruled does not matter to them. Don’t change the subject matter. Account for the missing money or go. All the explanations they gave about the missing money are just explanations. They steal from pensioners. We must kick them out.”
The APC leader who spoke at the sixth Bola Tinubu Colloquium in Lagos titled ‘The Summit of the Common man’, added that the electorate would not continue to vote for a government that refused to give them electricity.
“The change is for you to vote and defend it. We must break the shackles of poverty. How can we continue to vote for a government that refused to give us petrol and which removed subsidy on petroleum products. Are we sadistic? Do we enjoy being punished?” he stated.
Also, Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola urged the electorate to be mindful of those they elect.
He said, “ You must pay critical attention to the people you vote for.
I know that we have employed somebody for the top job in this country but when we asked him about his qualifications and experience, he said he had no shoes. You must decide whether you want someone who spends most of his time in church or mosque, or the man who is ready to spend his time on the job.”
Fashola also said Tinubu had solved problems, built an array of leaders and passed the torch to them.
Selected Nigerians across the country also shared their experiences ranging from unemployment, poverty, and injustice to audiences at event.
They included a farmer, Nasiru Daudawa, an unemployed graduate, Sopriye Victor and a fisherman, Eric Dooh.
In his remark, Chairman of the event, The Most Reverend, Ephraim
Ademowo, described the APC national leader as an uncommon man.
He said, “He is a consummate and tested politician. A master strategist and a libertarian par excellence. He is kind to a fault.”
Those who attended the event included APC interim Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, a former military Head of State, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), Chief Segun Osoba, Prof Pat Utomi, Governors of Ogun, Osun and Ekiti states, among many others.
Efforts to reach the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Goodluck Jonathan Dr. Reuben Abati, for his comments were futile on Saturday night. ReplyDeleteSee a criminal talking, you and your group are preparing to come milk the country further more. We know you all. Even how you ruled in Lagos, how channeled the wealth of the State to yourself and groups in preparation of 2015. You will all be disappointed.
ReplyDeleteKettle calling Pot Black
ReplyDeleteWas it after Modu Sheriff nearly beat him up that he said this?
ReplyDeleteAm so disappointed at Fashola's comments about GEJ. What kind of leadership are they portraiting?
ReplyDeleteThe complainant is the most shameless man to have ever walked on Nigerian soil. Can you tell Nigerians the source of your wealth?
ReplyDeleteWe shall send Good Luck out and bring the saint of Lagos State Bola Tinubu in as the next President . Keep on deceiving yourself .
ReplyDelete@Taraoni u and ur Apc group wl be demolished by double decker buldozer come 2015 frm buhari to Tinubu ribadu elrufai kwakaso etc they wl now use Tarani as ritual after the election......useles vampire BH family
ReplyDeleteImopsing ur daugter on market traders, ilmposing Bisi Akande as party leader frm AD to ACN to APc what can you call that?Tinubu you dont have anytin to say just fighting for national cake
ReplyDeleteFashola will prefer President Good Luck to go to the evil forest in Ibadan instead of church because that forest is where people like Fashola go to seek the help of the devil they believe in .
ReplyDeleteFashola, too. I thought u were different from Tinubu somehow. By ur statement on GEJ I feel sorry for people that once hailed u. U of all people know that Tinubu is a big corruption problem to Lagos State yet yo are still boothlicking. No government has done more on Electricity than GEJ is doing, so tell your story to the Marines while Tinubu and his companies milk Lagos dry of her taxes.
ReplyDeletethiefnubu ooooooooooo. so you can still talk?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, may i know where u are from and where u r going to? something is terribly wrong with u. If GEJ could do a quarter of what Tinubu did, this country wont be like this. The whole world knows that Jonathan is a complete failure and u know it. Nonsense!
ReplyDeleteGood talks my personal person however, we should note that GEJ/PDP are all specialist in failure. Those maggots are unfit to be there and they must go though, if they like they could go to hell honestly, I don't care.

Deletedon't mind these useless rotten good for nothing smelly maggots, opening their shit mouth to talk trash out of it. book haram man eaters! Theifnubu no vacancy in aso rock for u ohhhhhh.
DeleteAm disappointed to hear Tinubu say ''You must decide whether you want someone who spends most of his time in church or mosque, or the man who is ready to spend his time on the job.” Now I understand that APC leaders get their powers from Occultic kingdom hence no need to seek GOD'S Power in Church or mosque. APC u are gradually exposing yourself now we know better
ReplyDeleteWhat abt LCC? IYA/OMO LOJA? OJORA ROYAL CRIMINALS? U CORRUPT pass PDP. MUMU!
ReplyDeleteIf am looking for a party to vote for come 2015, it is obviously not APC bcos it is a fact that no bad follower can ever make a good leader. If all APC have to offer Nigeria is to insult the personality of the President of our country, then it means the lack morals. Little wonder, they are all thugs and father of thugs. If Fashola that I thought could be different from other old breed politicians could see nothing wrong in Tinubu, then it is obvious that he as well has nothing to offer Nigeria. However, PDP need to do more to convince Nigerians that they are a party to vote for come 2015. Sincerely, APC as it is now is not a better substitute for PDP. They are just the same ppl who found themselves on the wrong boat and are desperately struggling to come and settle scores and not to develop Nigeria. The entire wealth of Lagos is in the hand of Tinubu and his cronnies. So what are you telling us? or is it the Grand Commander of Bokoharam that has something to offer us? If APC and other parties really meant well for Nigeria, what they would have been doing is to crittisize the govt of the day constructively whenever they go wrong and to thumbs up for them whenever they do the right thing. APC cannot tell me that the present administration has never done anything right since they came to power. The other parties are neither here nor there. May be lets hope for credible independent candidates come 2015 if PDP refuse to turn a new leaf because nothing good can ever come out of APC. A leopard cannot wash off its spot no matter how hard it tries.
ReplyDeleteYou ranting like a fool. What is so special in abusing president GEJ? It is not easy to become president because you must be prepared to receive insults.
DeleteYou bastard talking rubbish, during the reign of OBJ people called him chimpanzee et cetera but what happened.
Americana raining abuses on Obama on daily basis and what happened so what is different about my pushover president GEJ? You better remain quiet before you see the wrath of Jehovah Jireh.
Who is the bigger bastard? you or your national leader (oju yo bo) or your two mouthed equally corrupt gov (fashola)? Insults are not going to get you anywhere near the presidency.
DeleteGEJ is a simple disaster! The most incompetent president ever.its unfortunate that OBJ imposed him on Nigerians...we have better materials in Niger delta...he is simply poor
