President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed former Chief Justice of the federation, Hon. Justice Idris Kutigi as chairman of the National Conference.
Chief Anyim Pius anyim, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, in a statement, in Abuja, Monday, also announced former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Boaji Akinyemi as Vice Chairman.
Dr. Valerie Azinge is to serve as secretary of the conference and therefore in charge of the secretariat.

If every Niger deltan is as rich as Asari Dokubo do you think there will be militants there for him to head again talkless of kidnapers. So GEJ is just a failure vis-vis our leaders. This conference is not different from senate / house of rep.

What makes them different ? APC is just a name and the whole of those criminals there came out from PDP....... We are all talking about corruption forgetting that corruption have been in existence before GEJ entered office......You don't expect GEJ to perform miracle to something that have gotten a Tab root in the mind of every Nigerian Politician.....Corruption has to be followed gradually till it is cubed out, You don't expect him to do magic immediately more especially where you guys promised his Government to be Ungovernable...How do you expect him to perform up to expectation with the promise of making his Government Ungovernable ?
