In what promises to be one of the best R'N B International collaborations in 2014,legendary African/Nigerian singer, 2Face Idibia collaborates with American superstar T-Pain for this joint- RAINBOW REMIX
Directed by Bla G and shot in Atlanta, U.S.A, Rainbow REMIX is the remix to 2Face Idibia’s popular single – Rainbow which was officially released back in April 2012.
On an already awesome song, TPain brought his t-paining autotune flavoured RnB flavour sealing Rainbow as a classic tune for daaays! “No matter rain or sunshine, I cant wait to make you mine…” Rainbow was on his 2012 album release Away & Beyond.
Idibia is one of Africa’s most successful modern-day artists having won BET’s Best International Artist Award and MTV Africa’s Artist of the Year Award. With five studio albums under his belt, Idibia is excited about continuing his journey into the International Music scene with help from artist friends like T-Pain.
He is currently in the studio finalizing a few new tracks that will appear on his deluxe re-release album, Away and Beyond: The Ascension, due in March. Similar to “Rainbow,” the album will also feature remixes to other original album tracks from Away and Beyond
The Ascension will be released under 960 Music Group, parent label to Idibia’s own Hypertek Digital.

As for all these Nigeria R & B artist still have a long way to go. Their music back ground is not rich enough to break through in America. They have ascent in their singing. Their music is only good in Nigeria. Those America R & B musicians have it in blood. They started playing instrument right from school. And also from church.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous 6:10AM, U are missing the point. We had tried imitating American ascent in the past but nobody liked it both home and away. So, now we changed it to originality which is working for us. In summary, we don't have to have American ascent to do good music. If it is so easy, Americans can also try to sing in our own original ascent. Thanks Kay
