FFK responds to Femi Aribisala's article - Jonathan WILL GO in 2015 and NOTHING will happen

Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode yesterday reacted to Femi Aribisala's article published on NigerianEYE,

Aribisala in his article made a case for the South-South of Nigeria to hold on to power till 2019 and also consequently complete two terms to promote peace, stablity and unity in Nigeria. He also stated that if a Northern president emerges in Nigeria come 2015, the rise of militancy in the South-South region would be a even bigger problem than Boko Haram.

However the former minister who is a popular critic of Goodluck Jonathan's administration insisted that Femi Aribisala was talking nonsense, and Jonathan will have to go in 2015.

He also made a contrast between quotes from Femi Aribisala and Umar Mohammed on his Facebook page.

Femi Aribisala says..

"Under the circumstances, the rejection of Jonathan in 2015 is a recipe for the disintegration of Nigeria. Since the South-South sits on the oil, wisdom dictates that the people cannot be made second-class citizens of Nigeria implicitly or explicitly. If Jonathan is denied a second-term, the South-South might even start considering secession. If that is not militarily viable, their militants can decide to use their vantage positions to sabotage Nigeria’s oil-fueled economy''.

Umar Mohammed says...

''Its when some people talk that you understand how foolish they are. Are we not in democracy? If Jonathan wants to rule for another term, why did he misuse the opportunity he was given and work for another term? He rubbish the country and you want us to vote him for another term just because he is from SouthSouth, nonsense. We will vote him out, if SouthSouth want, let them drink all the oil in that area''.

My own take...

As usual Femi Aribisala is talking absolute nonsense and Umar Mohammed has made a great deal of good sense. Whether Aribisala and the other Jonathonian cheerleaders like it or not, by the grace of the Living God whose I am and whom I serve, in 2015 Jonathan WILL GO and NOTHING will happen.

  2. Talking is so easy. Even a coward can assume a hero beside his computer. Many Nigerians have given out their brains on lease (abusing anyone with contrary opinion,e.g. FFK etal) otherwise, how come only very few can think beyond now, even to their detriment.

  3. Did Umar Mohammed vote for Jonathan the first time? The whole "north" did not vote for Jonathan and he won. And they've been killing themselves since. What is Femi Fani-Kayode talking? Nonsense!

  6. FFK at your age Æ”☺ΰ should build rather than destroy. If Æ”☺ΰ want members of your household to respect Æ”☺ΰ then respect those God has placed in authority. If Johnathan has to go in 2015 so be it if it is the will of God but do not attempt to help God. Remember David had an opportunity to kill Saul even when he was certain God had annointed him in his stead but he refrained. Be wise

  8. When the chips will be down, I can assure FFK will disappear. Talking is very cheap and easy like one commentator said already. This is no time for politics, the truth has been said by Arabisala. Buhari and his allies should have been tied of making Jonathan's government ungovernable, because Jonathan has shown wisdom in curtailing this BH menace, and persisted in his transformation agenda against all odds. My happiness remains that the truth can never be changed!

  9. If another man asides FFK had spoken, we could have had cause to think. But it is he, therefore we continue our businesses as usual. This is a man, shoes involvement in the affairs of Nigerian aviation brought us no singular impact and neither will the industry remember his presence for anything. A born loser. He is not even a prayer warrior and he is here talking about the God he serves. Does he serve God?

Jonathan will remain until 2019 and nothing will happen.

  10. ALL NIGERIANS HAVE EQUAL RIGHT OF EXPRESSION. BUT THERE ARE SOME EXPRESSIONS BY SOME NIGERIANS THAT SHOULDN'T BE PUBLISH AT ALL E.G FEMI FANI-KAYODE, UMAR MOHAMMMED ETC. THE FACT THAT A BUTTERFLY HAS WINGS DOES NOT MAKE IT A BIRD.

  13. FKK, WHATS YOUR PROBLEM?? GEJ WILL WIN 2015 ELECTION AND PEACE WILL REMAIN IN NIGERIA BY THE GRACE OF GOD.

  14. The God whom you claim to serve says "thou shall not steal" and femi you have stolen from Nigeria so definitely that same God will keep GEJ there come 2015 whether you and your type like it or not and send you to prison for money looted. Go and answer your case in court ole and stop disturbing us with your senseless noisemaking.

  15. What value has GEJ added to my life and others that are more than 75% of the population of Nigeria since he became acting / president? We are getting poorer per day. As a representative of the south/south people, has oil bunkering, damages to oil/gas pipelines stopped? Is it the Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba or Igbo that are doing these? Enough of nonsense. Enough of arrogance. Let them take and use their oil. Democracy is never practised through allocation of posts to geographical areas. It is the game of number. Let Aribisala vote for his master. Majority of Nigerians is fed up with the looting and stealing of the commonwealth to the detriment of our development.

  16. Femi, i expect by now U shd hv properly coach by Tinubu on how not to undermine the power of President when U still need money. Tinubu can sell all of U and vote for Jonathan, because, he was not after the welfare of the nation but accumulation of wealth as U deed under the PDP Govt u are now criticized. Jonathan will win 2015 election, not because he is the strongest, but APC will make him more popular by their noise and also, people will be disappointed in APC by the crops of politician they are admitting to their party. to the extent of begging PDP members that they say are not good to join them. you say PDP is not good and they constitute majority in new party APC. Haba! Nigerian are not fool. A tme will come before 2015 election that serious crisis will loom APC and they will prefer JOnathan to continue bcos alot of them will defect back to PDP bcos they could nt achieve their individual selfish interest.
