Alhaji Aminu Sokoto, member of Registration Committee of the party, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Sokoto on Thursday that the party would do everything humanly possible to ensure all its members acquired the party’s card to advance its interest.
He said the committee was working together with the interim committee chairmen of the party in the 23 local government areas of the state to ensure massive registration at the grassroots level.
“We will do all that we can to reach out to our teeming supporters to get registered for the wellbeing of our party,” he said.
He explained that the exercise remained the only option needed to sustain the “exemplary leadership” of Gov. Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State.
Sokoto also called on the party’s leadership across the state to promote political tolerance and understanding by ensuring peaceful conduct of the exercisse.
He said, “the APC-led administration would continue to carry the people along towards implementation of its policies and programmes that would enhance the living status of the people.”
“Our people have sense of belonging in the last six years of Wamakko’s administration as capital projects that had direct bearing on the lives of our people were implemented,” he said.
