Former Minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode reacted to the comments made by prominent Ijaw Leader, Chief Edwin Clark.
Clark, a former Minister of Information himself yesterday stated that since Obafemi Awolowo and Adekunle Ajasin died, the Yoruba have had no leaders, adding that former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu was wasting his time, moving about, calling himself the Yoruba leader, saying “money cannot buy leadership.”
FFK angrily reacted on his Facebook page, stating that the Ijaw leader is only being ignorant.
He tweeted.

ReplyDeleteWhich leadership is Clarke talking about? We only know Clarke as a militants leader, a confused old drunkard. He personally taught GEJ how to lie. He has been telling gullible minds that Boko Haram was formed by disgruntled northern politicians purposely to disturb GEJ government. But our lying president has proved Clarke a liar when he said Boko Haram was formed before his government, in his reply to OBJ's letter. Being a coward he shut up as soon as IBB threatened him with court action. Its also Clarke and his likes that advised GEJ to ignore boko haram as its a northeern problem. Clarke sees a united and peaceful north as a threat to this kindergarten presidency.

ReplyDeleteFor the fact that FFK has been messing himself up does not mean he can't for once make sense. The statement of elder Clark is very very wrong. How can a whole tribe not have a leader? That means all Yorubas are fools. With this I can see that the problem of Nigeria is caused by the so called elder statesmen in the country.

Drugs and a high level of self estimation have combined to turn me into a public ridicule across all tribes and religions. ffK cannot even win an election neither do his words carry credence. Besides what the old man said is quite correct. we the yorubas no longer have leaders in the mould of awolowo and the ajasins; what we have now are self impose rulers who only think about themselves and what they stand to gain e.g the likes of tinubu, bisi akande, segun osoba cannot be called leaders rather they are rulers who always try to play the people against themselves for their own personal gain. Unfortunately they have also coopted most of our traditional rulers into their political bigotry.
