The same sex bill has been stirring up a lot of controversies on the international scene and it is probably not going to end soon.
Nigerian gay rights activist Bisi Alimi was invited by CNN‘s news correspondent Christiane Amanpour to speak on the issue. Bisi who came out in 2004, revealed how he couldn’t get a job and was threatened. He later moved to the UK for safety.
Bisi tells Christiane that religion plays a great part in the signing of the bill.
