Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, who was exposed yesterday for claiming fraudulently that she got an MBA degree from an American University has been busy deleting her records, especially those available in cyberspace the last few years.
Premiumtimes in a report today said Stella and her associates have spent the last several hours scrambling to clean up her biographies on the Internet, following allegations that she lied about her academic qualifications.
See below screenshots of her unedited Facebook page and her Facebook profile (after the revision).
Already, Mrs. Oduah’s biography on the website of the Ministry of Aviation has been revised, with references to St. Paul’s College now wiped out.
“Oduah-Ogiemwonyi received her Bachelors and Masters Degree (in Accounting and Business Administration respectively) in the United States,” the new profile said of Mrs. Oduah’s education, without any reference to the university she attended.
Even the minister’s personal website has been reviewed to remove any reference to St. Paul’s College.
SaharaReporters, had Monday night quoted authorities at St. Paul’s College, where Mrs. Oduah claimed she studied for Bachelor and Masters degrees, as saying they did not award her an MBA at anytime as the university does not even have a graduate school or graduate programme.
The 52 year old lady, still embroiled in inflated armoured BMW purchase has not reacted to this new scandal.
Premiumtimes said the minister and her aides have revised her profiles on the web. Now, they do not bear any reference to St. Paul’s College. The minister returned to revise her Wikipedia page multiple times. The latest revision was done at 4:21 p.m. Nigerian time. A link to an interview she granted Encomium Magazine now leads to a 404 error on that website.
According to Premiumtimes, Mrs. Oduah’s biography on the website of the Ministry of Aviation has been revised, with references to St. Paul’s College now wiped out. The same revision has also been carried out on wikipedia, the news portal said.
The minister is yet to respond to the allegations. Joe Obi, her special assistant on media, did not answer or return calls.

Useless woman
ReplyDeleteTransformation team.
ReplyDeleteIn a civilized society the Minister would just relinquish her post.
ReplyDelete....It is high time we left Stella Oduah to do her job and live her life. Stella is not a security threat to the nation. Let the Press comment on security risk of the nation. Who authorized PremiumTimes Newspapers to investigate on where she went to school if they are not biased.
DeleteLet us not waste our time commenting on what we do not know details about. On the issue of armored car: I bet anyone, we have hundreds of armored cars bought with Nigerian money being driven past us daily in all our state capitals.
For you free commentators there is a limit someone will use you to achieve his dubious end.
Thank you.

It is myopic to insinuate that wasting 255m is not a security threat to Nigeria! And the press has the right to investigate anybody that occupies a public office. There is freedom of information bill! If she does not want to be checked out she should leave the public space and stop wasting tax payers (including myself) money! The fact that murder have been committed before and murderer escape the does NOT qualifies that if a new murderer is caught should not faced the full weight of the LAW! Nigeria wants a good country but they Don't want to pay the PRICE. What a hypocritical set of people!... Odun Tutu
DeleteThis is a classic example of why we are not movinf forward in nigeria. Why can't we all forger certificates, get apppointments and award contracts out of budget. What is wrong is wrong.
DeleteThe agency dat saddle with d reponsibility of investigating dis matter will keep mute, since we dont act according 2 law,but according 2 d OGA ON THE TOP.may God save us in dis country
ReplyDeleteThis woman is full of gross misconduct
ReplyDeleteThis woman should relinquished that very sensitive ministry which she heads. No wonder we are always backwards in everything.

Make Una no give am High Blood Pressure so that she dies untimely death. If you are being sponsored to bring her down, I beg tamper justice with mercy. ReplyDeleteAt least it's not in dispute that this woman her political opponents don't want allow a breathing space has masters. There could have been an error in given d name of d school but it doesn't obliterate d fact that she's a master's degree holder. Pls let's leave Oduah alone.
ReplyDeleteThose who still want this criminal can have their wish come true if they just can give her appointment in her/their own state(s). She can go ahead to spoil her father state not Nigeria
ReplyDeleteWhat do we axpect will become of our nation when all manner of certificate forgers are put in charge of critical sectors of the economy? GEJ had better do something concrete before the nation collapses around him.
ReplyDeleteGoodluck, Nigeria.
Honorable people do honorable things, not things that will hunt them later.MINISTER!!
ReplyDeletePut Integrity first in every thing u do,to avert this kind of molestation.u should learn a lesson from this
This is part of transformation AGENDA. God bless Nigeria
ReplyDeleteThe President and House members are elected and impeachable. It is increasingly obvious that Ms Oduah is an inconvenient person in GEJ's government, in more ways than one. If she cannot do the honorable thing and resign then GEJ should sanitize his government and set her and similar (Ministers and advisers) aside. She could still do a lot of backroom job for GEJ, including tutoring (teaching qualification may not be needed here) others especially if her experience and specialism are so valuable. GEJ does not need this much distraction, he needs to govern this country to greatness and achieve greatness himself. Nigeria is 160 million people and choices do exist. Long live Nigeria!
