Jonathan does NOT have the courage and decency to fire Oduah - Femi Fani-Kayode

Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode is known to speak out on issues concerning the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

And when the news of the present Minister of Aviation Stella Oduah Ogiemwonyi falsifying her resume was reported, it didn’t take long for him to air his views. He responded via his official Facebook page.

Although calling Stella as well as President Goodluck Jonathan and the government “an utter disgrace to Nigeria”, may be taken as an act of freedom of speech, Femi made a startling statement against the Igbos.

'I wonder if our igbo brothers and sisters will allege that all those that condemn Stella Oduah's shameless lies and false declarations, under oath, before the Nigerian Senate that she acquired a masters degree from some second rate American university are nothing but "igbo haters" who have a hidden agenda?

Honestly, this woman, this government, this President and all those that support them are an utter disgrace to Nigeria and to Africa. Even with all this I assure you that our President will not be able to muster the courage and decency to be firm and decisive and to fire this vampire Minister. And we all know why though we dare not say it.

We are a nation that is being governed by a bunch of scammers, cheats, liars, rogues, 419ner's, adulterers and ritualists. May God rid us of this evil and shameless government with it's inner circle and tiny cabal of desperate, heartless and greedy Jezebels.'

    1. When your message is not delivered in a responsive manner, you will receive attacks without minding the message you convey. Next time be more mature and respectful. I know in your quest to garner support for your party, you threw decorum to the wind.

    2. What are you saying,if you want to pass your message across you dont need to insult the President. Fani kayode lacks manners. The Office of the President is the highest office in Nigeria. Please respect it.

  11. The country is governed by adulterers including you who slepts with different Igbo ladies and yet was a minister of avaition. So you a'nt better than them. A pot calling a kettel black. God will deliver this from all of you even in APC

  12. I personally believe that the president needs to be incharge. Failure to act to expected norms makes him the mumu as he is claimed to be. I see nothing wrong in Me. Femis' write up. paw

  13. It baffles me how some people respond to issues. Stella Oduah has been alleged of forgery and misappropriation of funds, yet people can't get that right and tackle the issues due to some tribal sentiments. How then will the country move forward when there are so many igbo bigots, hypocrites and illiterates? Fani Kayode has made a statement; and that statement is true. GEJ lacks the decency to sack Oduah. I think that's quite simply.

    1. If something is alleged, does that make it a fact? For an acclaimed intellect to run his mouth without verify the issue, is a naked display of ignorance and foolishness. Incase you are not aware, the allegation have been confirmed to be FALSE.just one of the weapons of the opposition to descredit Jonathan and the minister. It was manufactured for FFK and people like you to feast upon knowing how gullibe you are. Shame on people like you

  15. Is this right.?Before we condemn FFK ,in a sane society allegation of fraud is enough to make any serving minister to resign. So as to allow umbridled investigation. But despite the public outcry on the N225m car scandal,GEJ does not see any reason to do something about it. Now another forgery scandal and the minister had sworn under a oath to the people of Nigeria that information provided by her is true to her knowledge and yet she is still in government. Really if I don't want to condemn this government before but with this , I make bold to say this government stinks and it is an utter disgrace to the entire people of Nigeria.Thank you FFK for saying the obvious truth.

  16. Can 2 wrongs make it right. Is it by causing and abusing we'll solve the problem?I think Femi is educated,is it legal to accuse and render abusive words to those in authority?Note:the Ishmaelites are using u to discredit ur brothers to show that only them can perform.

  19. Fanikayode, you were once on political appointment at Aso-Rock. Name one thing you can be remembered for by the people? I think I knew you were describbed as a paid ''watery mouth speaker'' (properganderist) through your unrefined peeches you made all through your appointment with 'Baba Iyabo''. So, you cannot be better than those there presently. Keep your mouth where God has placed it, that is, keep quiet and say nothing.

  20. It has not been proved that d allegation is true or that she submitted a fake resume to get her present job. I'll suggest pple like FFK shld, meanwhile, keep shut. I'm also sure some pple are working very hard to pull this woman down for reasons best known to them.

  21. when has speaking the naked truth become "insulting". Nakedness may look ugly but that is simply what it is. Let's learn to call a spade by its real name!

  22. God will help us to move forward in this country. We take things that are unheard of as though 'shit happens' or there's no big deal. I weep for this country. I'm afraid for the coming generation. We sure still av a very long way to go. Oh Lord, let thy kingdom come !

  23. all comments here are right, FFK should write in a more decent manner and still make it points, people also need to be more focused to tackle the more pressing issue or issues in a letter, people need to stop being biased about tribe and religion then we can move forward, we all need one another, yoruba, hausa, igbo, south south, middle belt and others, we need to value one another in and outside the country, we need to have common goals of developing all parts of the country, we need to think of others along as we think about ourselves, family and friends. These applies to everyone, even the comentators, lastly, need to watch how they display anoyance, not by insulting anyone or any tribe or religion, all these are offence in many countries that have peace, so let us all contribute our quota by emulating good things and tame our beaviour.

  24. Fellow Nigerians we should learn to call a spade, a spade. The former minister of aviation has some good points in his message though i don't agree with on the choice of words' however, our leaders should begin to act in a manner that will better the lot of us When it is glaring that somebody has abused the office given to her for Chris sake she has no business being there. Nigerians and indeed the world is watching. A stitch in time saves nine

  25. My people, let's put tribal sentiments aside and acknowledge the truth for what it is. Stella Odua is a fully discredited individual who should not continue to serve the nation in her current capacity. Because of her loss of credibility following the things that she is reported to have done, she no longer commands the respect of the nation. Whether or not others have done similar things in the past is irrelevant. She should recognize that her time is up, and quit the stage. The President is not setting a good example by allowing her to continue to serve under him as a Minister. By his actions he conveys the impression that he sees nothing wrong with corruption, even though the nation is perishing from that evil. This case alone is enough for me to deny Pres Jonathan my vote. The nation cannot continue to function like this, while we continue to look to God for salvation. I reside in the United States where things are done quite differently, so you can see where I'm coming from. By the way, I'm Igbo too, in case you want to know.

  27. You see why the SNC should just divide the country and let the major tribes split up. This Nigeria project has been a failed and wasted venture if you keep keep the social engineering aside you will have to admit it.

  29. Mrs Oduah performed well in giving aviation sector a face lift. Go the airports today and see how she had improved the facilities. Upgrading of Akanu Ibiam Airport Enugu to International airport is an eloquent testimony. Go to MMA and see rehabilitation work she accomplished. The same applies to every other airport. With these, At least, her sin could be written off, afterall she did not appropriate the BMW to herself. The good work she did far outweigh her transgression. She is not the worst sinner even those accusing her cannot claim to be more righteous. Some might have forged or falsely declared one thing or the order including age, address, Absent from duty without leave, Using 'man know man' to influence things that ought to be by merrit.
