Plateau State Governor, Mr. Jonah Jang, on Tuesday handed a surprise Eid Maulud shocker to two commissioners in a surprise cabinet reshuffle.
Messrs Lohsa Bako and Abdulhamid Gamzaki, who hitherto were supervising the ministries of youth development and transport respectively, were dropped in the exercise that saw an equally surprise redeployment of Mr. Yiljap Abraham from the Ministry of Information and Communications to Tourism and Culture.
In a statement by the Director of Press Affairs, Mr. James Mannok, in Jos, Abraham was replaced with Mrs. Olivia Daziem, who swapped the ministry of women affairs with Mrs. Sarah Yusuf.
The former Commissioner for Tourism and culture, Mr. Sylvanus Dongtoe, is now the Commissioner for Environment, vacated by Yusuf.
Mr. James Yakubu, former commissioner for sports is the new commissioner for youths development. Other commissioners retained their portfolios.
