The Imam of Federal College of Technology, Yaba Mosque, Imam Saeed Salmon has said that Islam also believes in the second coming of Jesus Christ, emphasising that any Muslim who does not believe in it is not a true follower of Prophet Muhammed.
Salmon who made this known at a special lecture held at the Lagos Central Mosque, Tinubu, said, Jesus is a messenger of God and would still return to a mosque in Damascus.
“The second coming of Jesus Christ is a doctrine that every Muslim must believe. The teachings of prophet Muhammed talks extensively about this.
The Qua’ ran Chapter 4:157-159 teaches this but the teachings of Islam does not support that Jesus was killed or resurrected, rather, he was raised by Almighty Allah to his majesty.”
“Jesus is coming again to refute the claim of the Jews that he was crucified and to correct the doctrine of the Christians that he is the son of God.
Again, the second coming of Jesus is to establish that there is a close relationship between Prophet Muhammed and Jesus himself.”
The Chief host and organiser of the lecture, Amir Ajala Kamardeen noted that he is under the obligation as a true Muslim to educate the public and to correct any misconception about Islam.
“Jesus is a prophet and messenger of Allah and as a true Muslim, we are bound to believe all prophets of Allah.
The holy book ,Qur’an points to the fact that the second coming of Jesus Christ is a sign of end time but there are some group of Muslims in Harvard University and in Cairo known as the fatimists and also Ahmadists who are saying otherwise, so, I have put it upon myself to correct them.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

The quran clearly stated that jesus christ the son of mary will be the sign of the hour of judgement quran 43:61 so any muslim that does not believe in his coming back is not a true muslim and to the xtians jesus isn't a son of God,he and his mother was used as a sign by Almighty Allah.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Didn't know that.
ReplyDeleteSo at least d Quran believes there was Christ. Why then the hatred leashed out on his followers? At least it shouldn't have gotten to the extent it has, given the establishment of this knowledge as postulated above. We must learn to tolerate one another & realise that one thing common with all humans is error. So when one group seem not to be getting it right,it's not supposed to bring about so much trouble..... Chris Abara.
ReplyDeleteSo, which group is not getting it right?
DeleteGod have mercy on you!

ReplyDeleteII corinthians 6:14 states that we should not be yoked together with the unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? In both Matthew 8:22 & Luke 9:60 the emphasis from Christ is'' let the dead bury their own dead..... So my question now is, how again will the light reconcile with your darkness and the living Christ as you quoted reconcile with your dead mohammed. I think the truth is missing from that piece of work of yours, or maybe something is missing in or around in. Believing in Christ is different from knowing Christ. For the knowledge of Christ is for all men but the believe in Christ is for those whom God has drawn to Him and Christ will raise them up at the last day (John6:44). In case if there is anyone among us that would want to be raised up by Christ at the last day he/she must believe in Christ for the living not the dead see Isaiah 38:18. As Christ is the only way the truth and the life ( John 14:6), there can't be two truths in a particular issue. However, if you believe in Christ you shall be raise by Him and if you don't believe in Him weather you are a prophet, messenger, servant, oracle or mr/mrs nobody you can never be raise by Christ nor by any other people or person. So none can believe unless God has chosen him/her, please my people it is not by struggle, fighting, strength or force that you believe in Christ, of course Christ did not and will not come for the multitude but for the chosen. maybe you can help me ask yourself honestly if you are among special invitee... for me YES...God bless you for reading me in Jesus name....amen!!!
ReplyDeleteIn Yoruba land Christians and Muslims marry themselves and live together as one family. Thanks to the clerics.
ReplyDeleteeh. End will tell.

ReplyDeletei bless God that Jesus himself is doing what we are surpose to do.Many Muslims will come to the knowledge of Jesus christ before he return. The Imam has said it but that is the amount of the truth he know. The Lord will make him to move from this level to the next level IJN.
