Chievo Verona on Friday completed the signing of Nigeria striker Victor Obinna from Lokomotiv Moscow.
It would be a return to the Stadio Bentegodi, as he already played for the club from 2005 to 2008.
Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset both claim Obinna has emptied his locker in Moscow and is flying to Verona.
Now 26, he played three Premier Liga games with Lokomotiv this season.
Obinna has been at the Russian side since July 2011, having also played for Malaga, West Ham and Inter.
