No wonder Mr Reuben Abati is overdoing his work and responding to every Jonathan critic, He is the new Jonathan mouth piece, always speaking for Jonathan even when he does not want to talk....apparently he doesn't want to go back to this...Lol
Abati has been defending every jibe and criticism thrown at the Goodluck Jonathan administration and who will blame him? He is only doing his job.
Reuben Abati is the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria.
Few years back many of us will stay awake late after a very hard day refusing to take our well deserved rest to listen to Reuben Abati and other members of patito's gang diagnosis and quick fixes to Nigeria's self-inflicted pains, criticizing the government and opposing every wrong move.
At some point, these analysis and interventions put forward by this gang were so simple and straightforward that we thought if we could get at least one of these gang members into govt, then things will start to improve in Nigeria.
Those of us who knew Abati before now can only imagine all the things he would have said about Jonathan's administration if he wasn't part of it

ReplyDeleteI knew right from when he was in patitos gang with that his ugly face. He likes grammar that was when he bought some Nigerians. For me i knew he is a never to do well, if he's given opportunity in government.
ReplyDeleteWhat of his Friday and Sunday columns in the Guardian. Reuben single-handedly brought Abacha's government on its knees. But see now what Jonathan's government has done to him. Nigerian politicians have a way of rubbishing an otherwise credible persons.

Ruben Abati, please go back and dig into your archives what you wrote in the time past on, Chukwumerije, Clement Akpamgbo, Wada Nas, Andoaka, and others who were one time or the other in a similar position you are occupying now. Brother, respect truth, respect people's opinion.

ReplyDeleteNot only Reuben, the list of his type is endless: Wole Soyinka (FRSC), Tai Solarin (PEOPLES' BANK, Ebenezer Babatope (MINISTER), Livi Ajonma (NNPC), Adams Oshiomole(GOVERNOR), Labaran Maku (MIN. OF INFO, Olusegun Adeniyi (SPOKEMAN FOR YARADUA). All were great critics until the pendulum swings, and they become the mouthpiece of govt defending all anti-people policies. GOD SAVES NIGERIA
